Duplicate thread due to unwanted spam and if it repeats itself in this thread, Hell will break loose.

With 3/4 throttle, I cruise at around 35 mph but when I completely full throttle it, it starts to make the same noise in this video (10-13 sec) and it even slows my bike down to around 25 mph... I usually release the throttle after I hear that noise and just keep it at 3/4 throttle but I know that's not the complete engine potential and can reach to much higher speeds and RPMs, but once I hear that "tached out" sound I can't dare to keep it up in case of seizing my motor.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FA39J_wlhk&eurl=http://midbikenation.com/showthread.php?t=1022

Tomorrow, I'll be replacing my stock spark plug with an NGK, changing the stock vegetable oil the bike came with to a motorcycle 10W30 oil, and add a new dirt bike or 4 stroke high performance air filter.

* I'll have images of my old spark plug tomorrow for tuning advice. *

I tried to tune the carburator today but, no luck. Without any information from the spark plug, I just randomly tuned it and took it for spins around the block but I still continued to hear that "Tached out" noise. All I recieved from the tuning today was a bike that no longer idles... I wasn't too sure if this was the fuel to air mixture screw because I didn't really see a spring? It was on the top of the engine more to the left side and you have to remove that rubber piece on the frame to adjust it, it looked like a golden screw on the right side next to a barely exposed "idle" screw.

Hopefully tomorrow with my new modifications, and proper tuning based off the old spark plug, I can reach much higher speeds.

If you have any educated and well thought out comments, please feel free to post.

I've posted all the information I know so hopefully the right people can help me out.

dam i dont realy know what man it could be your spk plug maybe its not gaped right?? chex that out and see if thats your problem!! and it could be your carb you ****ed up the idle!! that sucks try fixing it by closing the screws that you moved all the way and then turn them out 4 times and work from there! and chang your oil as soon as posible!!thumbsup2

Ninja, 4 out is way too lean... I'll start from 2.5 and tune from there. The spark plug most likely isn't gapped since I can't even get it out.

To add to my list, I'll be moving the C Clip to the bottom and cutting restrictive intake that looks like a snorkel

c clip??? whats that??

Where you take off a piece of the carb and move the throttle c clip up or down or some shizzle to lean it out or make it richer

You may have the fuel restrictors that come on some bikes and crating doesnt state which ones either.I found two on all my X-15's. The first one was in the fuel tank output.I found accidently in my 06 and it was in my 07 and 08 also.I noticed dirt in my 06 tank.I removed it and drained gas;-filled it with water and the flow coming out was anemic.I thought it was dirt.I poked a 1/8"drill bit into it and found that the drill bit stopped.I looked into hole.It looked clear. It wasnt. It was a clear plastic screen.I drilled it out with a 3/16" drill bit and the flow was more stronger after the drill out.

The other restrictor I found was the small diameter fuelline and the fuel filter also. When I shook it it rattled.I cut it in half and found a black magnet in the basket.I changed the filter out for a 1/4" high flow filter and 4 stroke hp 1/4" fuelline and a fuel cut off switch also.

Before I found the problem I had a problem with the bike leaning out when cruising full throttle going long distances and noticed it stalling when I released the gas.I thought it was lean and fattened the jet up 1 jet.It worked slightly but it made hard starting and fouled the plug.I took carb apart to switch back jet and noticed how high the pilot jet was in the carb and felt that the float bowl was being sucked up too fast and not allowing the pilot jet to receive fuel until the bowl filled up so I cut a small 1/2" piece of 3/16" fuelline and slipped it over the pilot jet so it lengthened it so it could suck fuel at all times from bowl bottom. This cured the stalling. It still ran lean at the top.Thats when I noticed the dirt and the rest you know. Now my bike doesnt starve for fuel and doesnt stall out coming off the throttle. Also your bike is new and the motor is still tight and high friction. The speeds will improve with break-in.Please get rid of that crappy oil too.peace

so what was the problem??

Superbikeracer08***

I did everything I had planned to do today which was:

Change out the stock oil for some nice automatic transmission 4 stroke small engine oil that is meant for centrifugal clutches.
Replace the stock spark plug with an NGK spark plug
Removed unecessary plastics so I can change oil with ease and it looks so much cooler like a Ducati!
I tuned the fuel to air mixture screw on the carburator to all the way in, and 2.5 out and adjusted it probably 1/8 richer from there.
Finally, I removed the intake restrictor which was the best move I made so far.

After all this work, I learned a lot more about my bike and now I can reach speeds of 40 MPH no doubt, since my fully modified goped which isn't ported though reached 30 on my friend's radar gun. This has the be atleast 3x faster than that but I won't exaggerate and say I'm doing 90, but tops 45, and lowest 40.

I do have to give a special thanks to X7rocks ( Kenny ) for guiding me through exactly what to do to fix my bike, thanks a lot bro!

Yes, it's an automatic X19 and it kicks ass. Tops out at around 40. I might add an exhaust along with a 26mm carb or just have my exhaust header ported by MidasMuffer Inc.

An automatic transmission is just my personal preference and please don't get me started with details, because I'll make you feel stupid you ever bought your bike that you've broken how many times now?

Kenny, we've gone through before and have had problems... but here goes nuffin, you can correct me all you want but I still have an opinion and preference, you won't be able to change my mind, Ever.

Easier to fix
Less moving parts on the engine
Automatic cars are more expensive than manual cars, correct?
Don't need to worry about breaking nor bending the clutch
Don't need to worry about breaking the foot shifter
Don't need to worry about shifting every second

Pretty much sums it up for me, but I can think of more things later.. sure, i'll admit the manual trannies are fun as hell for a week or two until you break the clutch, but if you are lucky and don't have any trouble within those two weeks then you will sort of get sick of having to shift and use the clutch everytime you just want to ride.

To show I am not bias, I can provide a list of reasons as to why manual would be better too:

Offroading
Faster acceleration
Rev'ing

Pretty much sums that up too, I am not looking for an arguement I just think what I think and I would prefer an automatic transmission anyday over a manual ESPECIALLY on these Chinese midbikes.

I am actually excellent with the clutch and shifter on my cuzin's 08 Ninja 250R, but I wouldn't want to take a chance with a Chinese midbike. I explained that I am not bias, so don't try to direct any derogatory directs to me.

You must be one of the lucky ones then, eh? I just know of a million people I've talked to that have problems with the gears, clutch, with the 110 manual motors.
