I've been looking for a deal on exhaust wrap and I think I've found a damn good deal and he has 11 rolls left (I bought one of course). I looked in Pepboys and for that length they wanted $40.

Considering the heat coming off these little babies it not a bad idea. If you bump your motor size up if an even better idea. Don't wait they ain't gonna last.

That looks like the stuff I bought before, no where near as good as DEI , this stuff was basically fiberglass cloth like you'd use to fix fiberglass boats and such, it shreads real easy, frays easily, it's better than nothing but it rots and falls apart within a season... If you use it I'd suggest spraying it with good heat paint before and after wrapping it, it will smoke and stink for a while but the paint will help seal it against the eliments...

Kind of what I figured but what it's going to be put through a re-wrap is gonna happen often. I'm using kevlar in the really hot spots under the wrap.

it's okay for the price, nothing that you'd want to use on a show bike or for long lasting looks.... Nice find for the money though.....With the Kevlar you should be good to go....
