if you have to lower the c-clip all the way to the bottom, is that a sign that the stock carb has the wrong size jet in it? i had to lower mine today to the bottom to get enough fuel to run right. is that bad?

its a sign that you have a short between the handlebar and the seat

WTH are you talking about??? LOL
all the stock carbs I've had on these bikes I had to lower it all the way down to make them run.... The carbs are undersized to start with...
If the engine is a stock 110 I'd suggest a taper bore 26mm off ebay, I have used several of them and they work good, if you mod the engine I'd go with a real VM Mikuni

the c-clip is on the needle in the carb. you have to unscrew the cap on top and the needle, slide and spring come out in one piece. pull the spring back and take loose the throttle cable. then with your finger over the top of the slide, push the needle up and the little spring inside will pop out. look on the needle and theres a small c-clip, should be in the middle setting. if you have stock carb, then i would put the clip all the way down. now all you have to do i reverse the steps.
