Whats up guys i am back and want to maybe change up my body style some what.
What should i do with my body should i do with my x18's body panels? Should i keep i how it is with the carbon fiber? Or should i take off the carbon fiber and nicely fill in the cracks with bondo and sand very well then paint with high quality spray paint.
if you think i should re-paint what paint sceme should i do? Like what body color, rim powdercoat color and what decals? And i would rather have the body all one color because it would be alot easy i wouldnt have to tape off anything.
If i was gunna paint i was thinking of doing black body, white rims and hond decals but i see alot of people have the same sceme.......so what color sceme should i do what would look cool?

Thanks for the reply! I have a whole brand new body in black and red, but I have a tendency of breaking plastic so i am saving those for when i sell my bike so it will have a fresh non-scratched body.
So I think i am gonna take my time on each piece of plastic. I will use several coats of bondo and sand in smooth and repair with fiberglass, then spray with sandable plastic primer with 2 coats last put 2-3 coats of spray paint.
What is a good spray paint to use? What color scheme would look nice with black or white powder coated rims....someone suggested neon green? So what would look cool?
And lastly, how much do you think it would cost to bring my sanded and primed plastics to a motorcycle costume shop to get painted...roughly?
THANKS ANYONE HELP PLEASE WILL GIVE REP!!!!thumbsup2

do you think i should buy a pressure paint gun? And buy paint used on real mototrcycles? Does anyone know what paint sprayer i would need? And with a paint sprayer would it come out to look professional like shiny?
And i want to make a replica, but i dont know witch one yet, i want a simple color scheme like one color for the body......i was thinking about making it look like a 2005 Ducati 999 or a kawi.

The first thing IMO you should do is fiberglass re-enforce the back of the panels. If you don't the nice paint you put on the front is going to crack just from riding and you're going to be pissed. It's sounds like you're willing to put in the effort to get a nice job if so a little more effort that you can't see will help a lot. I was told more than once "The final look of the paint job is only as good as the prep work done before the color was laid."

Wasting you money and time in my opinion. Getting a good layer sprayed with them takes practice. On top of that you need a good compressor and a clean ventilated area. Either have a pro do it or spray paint which can lay down a hell of a nice look if you take your time. I used spray paint on mine and would have taken more time but it's a race bike and it'll get painted again (Knock on wood) in spots so wasting time on it would have been stupid, in my opinion.
