Drag Exhaust on X-15, anyone?

I king of like this exhaust for the X-15 and I was wondering if anyone had installed on on theirs.

How was the install?

How does it sound?

What kind of gains did you notice, if any? top end/Bottom etc.

i think you have to cut the fairings some to get it to fit
its prolly loud
i seen it on some bikes running the 1/8th on utube

what a joke, for $150 all it is, is a pitbike muffler attached to a wacked off headpipe.... You could get a pitbike muffler off ebay and mod it to your headpipe and have under $50 in it... Personally I'd get a chopper exhaust if you want that look...

touche'........I cringe everytime someone tells us they just spent $200 on one of thier cheap exhausts or $800 on a $200 engine.... that just frys me, I can understand making a profit but man, give me a break.... they know these kids don't have a clue and believe everything they read, that should be considered a crime against kids.....

for one, put the camera further away, that sounds like shit. second, that bike is idled way too high. and third, you might not want to rev a cold engine like that, unless you dont mind blowing it cause of lack of oil where needed.

Sweet looking exhaust tho, sounds decent enough.


I saw a modified Yosh pipe from a CRF 70 on another thread that looked sweet. I don't have a welder or I'd go for it.
(he said you need to save the flange from the stock exhaust and welsd it to the Yosh head pipe.)
