Hello,I'm looking to invest into a new set of sporkcets, bigger carburator,HP filter, and DID chain. However,I am hoping to keep my current exhaust.
Basically,I would like a tutorial on how to port the X19 Exhaust with pictures.
Please & Thank You.

Yeah I hate the exhaust setup with a passion. Do the things you can do first without porting or jetting. did chain, sprockets and filter. I think there is a way to transform it into a single pipe. But you have to weld it.

Yeah, you would need to buy the Pit bike Exhaust canister and have yours cut and then the new canister rewelded.Sort of a headache,eh?

Verry easy to do
Basic Chop and weld if u have the saw and welder

its an exhaust pipe, they all come weldable if its not aluminum, well easy welding
i know a dude that just rolled his bike to the muffler shop, picked out a small tip, and had them weld it on

if you just put a tip on and run straight pipe you will run real lean. i wouldnt go that route, plus it will sound like shjit.

Guys, I'm gonna move this to Midbike Talk. The How-To forum exists for us to explain how to do things. Let's keep it clear of threads that start with a question.
Thanks,

to port the head pipe: take it off and grind the insides with a dremil to remove most of the big weld thats right inside the headpipe
the exhaust will flow better out of the head after that

Kidd sent me a PM asking about this and I thought it was a damn good question. Now as for the answer it was the best I could do at the time but I'm passing it on as info. Maybe it will answer a few of the questions people have about using and improving the stock exhaust. dunno

What they mean by porting the exhaust is opening up the ports on the cylinder head. The only way that will work with the exhaust is to use a larger header pipe. If you open up just the ends of the header you still have a small opening in between. Think about it like this...if you take a garden hose and put a funnel on each end it has 2 wider openings but the water will sit in the funnel as it slowly goes into the hose thinking_smilie But the same holds true if you port and polish the head it doesn't do much good if you use the stock exhaust. If you want to go the port route I'll point you in the right direction (I hope bluelaugh)
