finally got the pipe right and started it
had to take the right side rearset off to clear the kicker, ill do that later
im very impressed with the motor, it revs very high and fast too like an irk motor
so ill be back in the game soon

im kinda scared to and i can still get around corners fast enough so i dont feel any pressure to try and learn
ive noticed that my knee will creep out on its own sometimes tho
but usually its the tip on my boot that i use for a feeler
if you look at the toe after the dublin laps, you would have seen a fresh bevel cut in, i showed S cause i was surprised

Dragging your knee is not the ultimate in road racing. Getting around a corner faster than you thought the bike could go is! Once you get to a certain level knee out will help a lot but there were plenty of top level racers who never moved their butt from the seat.

i understand, how does that 160 perform compared to your 146
not really sure yet, it feels strong
im expecting to do as good maybe slightly worse
i dont think 14cc>hi comp/cam
but it is now a build in progress

this motor pulls just as good in second as the 146, like hold-the-fuk-on
im not to worried about being competitive, i should hold ok, prolly not quite enough to pass S but it will only get better from here
i really like the ork and the new shift pattern
i was banging the downshift into the corners easy and the ergos were easier to manage
the motor didnt stutter the back wheel on downshifts like the regular flywheel will and it isnt as weak to run as the full irk, so those two things make me think im gonna be faster in the corners, the dig under to shift to 3rd was when i was upright and easy to do fast, i hit a very high speed in 3rd, way faster than any track ive been to yet
so if you wanna beat me you need way more power or shift alot, or the S move lol
i tested with my pads and jeans i raced in the first few times, instead of the leather pants, i wore the top but i felt too restricted in the pants
so i think thats what im gonna race in from now on, you cant be fast if your uncomfortable

well i guess everybody is out riding....me too
after the second ride i realized i should have made an acceleration vid to 1up my bro
so i hurried up and hooked up my still cam that does video too
i forgot to check for vibration so it really sucks, sorry guys, ill fix that soon
but you can kinda see the potential
at 1.49 i pass a dude on a bicycle at like 60mph, then hard brake an off camber hill
at the end i was just charging then hard braking

oh ya, forgot to add, all yx owners should know this but if you dont, check your valves
i heard mine making a 'strange' noise so today i checked them before i went riding and they were tight...no gap at all
i gapped them even maybe a little over and it was good after that cept i had alot of oil burn off and i thought i had a leak from the ex cover at first but it eventually stopped smoking
my bike has once again exceeded its riders limits
it sure was nice to bang down a gear, let the clutch right out and it not step out
i felt the front wheel get light under high rpm, guess its spacer time in the forks and tighten up the preload on the shock

It's starting to look like your bike is to wild for the street. What I mean is the motor never gets to breath. You did once as you passed the guy on the bike but what's it with all the grandma drivers rolleye0010 I thought you were going to pass a couple they were so slow?

the bike is too wild for the street if you ride it that way, i just did that on a few short roads i knew were lightly traveled, the speed limit was 25 lol

i just talked the the owner of all aspects tuning and they have a little dyno like the one i posted about my friends 110
he is willing to meet me there on sunday to see what this 160 is putting down for real, i really wish it could have been the 146, i had so much time in that motor, i just knew id hit 15
so i told him that the stock 160 is supposed to make 12-12.5, i should make that due to the carb and pipe, i may even take the tm28 too just incase it does better
this shop does a air/fuel and tuning for 60 bux
i think im just gonna get a base number and retest when i upgrade the motor
they actually said they would plumb the turbo, well they said they would try, these are wrx twin turbo guys that know what they are doing....oh no i just sounded like someone else bluelaugh
