ok so thanks to blitz i got a new carb for my bike but i need some info from you guys on how to tune the carb and THANKS in advance

Ah Packed you left yourself WTFO on this one bluelaugh OK I give up tune it to what? 50cc, 110cc, 125cc, 138cc, 140cc, 150cc, or 177cc? Or are you just using it as a funky art piece. I'll stop now Packed moon1

I know it would be easier for some to use the "SEARCH" bar, but he's kind of a newb and just sorta gettin' to know the guys n maybe makin' some friends making conversation ... let's give him this one ........ can we? rock2

Nutt, he didn't say anything about an engine swap, all he said was an X18. Quit complicating stuff bluelaugh However, the important part he didn't include was what kind of carburator.

have you tried to just run it yet?
it might be ok, it was when it came off
other than that, we need symptoms of what the bike is doing at certain throttle ranges, thats how you tune a carb

Oh no speechless33 guys you got me wrong on this one. I wasn't on a rant about the search. I was just pokin' because he asked a question and we/I had no details on what he was running the carb on. Packed I'm sorry man I wasn't tryin' to JYS dude. If I messed up I own ya one man.

blitz and to everybody reading this i installed the carb and the bike started right up but after i put the chock down the bike idled for a lil bit then it die so im just trying to get it to idle longer with out dieing and ill start from here to make things easer i will screw the idel all the way in and the other screw to the side of it all the way in too now if you guys can tell me how much to screw out that would be graet............... and Nutty its fine no problems

ok turn the air/fuel out 2 turns
turn the idle out a turn and see how it goes
or when it starts, keep it running if you can by giving it gas, and try to adjust it while its running
