Ok guys its been a while since I have posted on here but I have finally gotten around to spending more time on my mid and I want to know what yalls feelings are on some engine upgrades. I am looking at either doing the 114 big block head kit with a 26 mm carb or the 140cc engine and carb from holeshotz. I really dont want to spend the 400 dollars tho
If I get the 114 and 26 mm carb what gearing do yall suggest? right now I am at stock.dunno

well if you like taking chances dunno
anyway, the 114 is nice but i would get the 140
the stock 110 head is just a waste of time, you can get a bvh for the 110 but is 200+
so dollar for dollar, the bigger motor wins

right but I'm hoping the 114cc will hold me over for a while so I dont have to spend 400 bucks. Where is a good place to get the 114 from? really dont want to spend the 400 bucks if I can get a small yet decent power increase by going with the 114 and a 26mm carb

yes.... bluelaugh
I am kind of looking at getting a big bike here sooner or later and would love to do a bigger motor on the x-19 but I need to deal with brakes, suspension and how it looks before I get a larger engine.
However all this will be a very slow process since I am getting married in November and going to start looking at houses depending on how big my raise is which also happens in November! thumbsup2

Neck let me tell you something. 1:1 bikes are great. I plan on buying a Ducati sooner rather than later I hope, BUT! There is nothing to replace the Mid's. 1:1 bikes end up being transportation and Mid's are straight the bomb!

take a look at DR ATV.com
they have some big bore kits for only 109 dollars
along with some big valve heads for the honda based TRX90 engine
which basicaly fits the stud spaceing on the 107 motors that come with the bikes.
but be sure to use a 1mm gasket or there might be some small problems with the piston possibly hitting the valve head.
