Does anyone know what kind of chain and what size I have on my x1? It's the original chain but mine is kinda weak and since I had to extend it, it's lame and looks bent. So I just want another one but I don't know what it is. I've read somewhere that the x2's have an 8mm chain but I don't know that they will work or not with my stock sporckets. Not saying that in the future I won't change the sprockets but for now I wanna run what I have and just get a better chain. Any help?

The X1 has bicycycle chain like on bmx bikes.... You can get a new chain at any bike shop, walmarts ect.... The x2 chain will not work with x1 sprockets......

Well I have a traditional bmx bike I used to ride and the chain on the x1 is smaller than the bmx. So that means the teeth on the sprocket the x1 uses are closer together than the one on the bmx. My bmx uses regular chains so a regular bike chain won't work. Maybe my x1 has an 8mm chain off an x2 already. Who knows.

I have some x1 sprockets and I tried a bike chain on them and it fit... If your gears have small teeth it is probably the 8mm..
if your sprocket looks like this it's an X1

If it looks like this it's an X2

hmm is the 8mm better? From what I've seen on my own comparision the x1 chain has closer teeth than my bmx bike. So I have an x2 chain?

the x2 chain is better.... If you don't have either of the ones I listed above I have no idea what you have, like I said I put a bike chain on an x1 sprocket I have and it fit all the way around..... Maybe you have the #25 chain like the cags? dunno Is Take a pic of the sprocket, that will help...

So I have the x2 sprocket and chain. But I don't have the cvt transmission posted with the x2 chain on scooterparts4less. Weird.

Hmm cool to know I have one cause thats what I wanted. But is it true if I switch to a smaller sprocket I will have more top speed than more torque. I always thought the bigger the sprocket the farther the wheel travels before it comes back around and meaning more distance traveled (mph) when the motor tops out.
