X18 Tank Cover

The screw hole on my x18 tank cover broke off in a crash a while ago, does anyone know where I can just get the tank cover piece, or is there anyone that has an x18 that they broke or don't use? I'm desperate for a new cover, the mighty putty isn't holding!

post a pic of the break, it may be fixable with some plastic sheet and

there should be somewhere you can get them separate
id fix it if i was you
ive made body panels out of thin aluminum that came out excellent and will not break like plastic
im sure you can fix and reinforce it
and that could be step one to your new paint job!

lots of great paint is here to see
personally i used fibreglass bondo/mesh on stress points and then sprayed the inner panels with that rubber undercoating, it helps with vibration and heat

what part broke on it, if your talking about that little tab in the front you dont need that i even cut it off because it got in the way

you dont need it i cut mine off it was just making the tank cover hard to take off

i made metal tabs on my tank thumbsup2....made it out of the roll up metal stuff that has holes in it

i have no tabs for my x18 tank it has become one with the fairings and it makes it alote easier that it comes out on in one peice now

there isnt any place known yet, ive seen a site where it had every bikes plastics individually besides the x18
