Okay, so my $100 X15 bike is up and running now, and i was wondering if there was any way i could improve the stock 15 exaust. Like stuff i could do for little or no cost, that i could do at home.

put a few tablespoons of 90w oil in the fork tubes

I have damn near a cup. But it's too stiff believe you me I need to back out on the amount but not by much.

UPDATE: Ignore the idiot! I can't believe I did what I did and rode it. No wonder I hydro-locked the front. I've replaced seals more than once but I never had to figure out the fluid level so I asked and thought I followed directions...nope. Guess a thread is on the way so no one else screws it up like I did. Oh and it'll be right this time with lots of pictures. You know I love the camera.

ya sorry about that, the exhaust is crap
best thing you can do for free is take off the head pipe and grind down most of the big weld thats inside there
that will give you more flow

yeah there really isnt much you can do with the 15's exhaust, thats the problem i had. just get on ebay and get you a pit bike exhaust and get it welded up on your bike to fit. you wont believe how much more power you will get form just that. add a 22mm carb onto that and you will be doing about 60.

Yeah just a little, sorry dude. I cored my exhaust and used just the sleeve in the end. It wasn't easy and you're better off buying a pre-made off Ebay.

Well, There is a KTM shop near where i live, I talked to the guy today, he said that he had some mufflers of some old KTM bikes that he could let go for $25-30, Most of them are off old bikes, and have dents and dings in them. If i cut the "U" shaped end of the x15 stock exaust, then slip on the KTM muffler would that help any? And if i did that i would probably have to cut out part of the Tail, as the KTM mufflers are about 1' long.
He gave me a really old one for free, not sure if its worth putting on my bike though. I'll post pictures and more information on it later.

I used the head pipe off my X-18 and the rear pipe section off of a X-15 with the u bend cut off and welded the can off of my X-18 since I had modded it.

This was on my buddy's X-15 stunt bike.
