hey everyone i have a noob question, i got a new 22mm mikuni carb in, but from what i can tell there is only one adjustment screw does anyone know which direction does what or if there are any more screws? there is also a pink tube running from the carb, (not the float bowl one) not quite sure if it does anything,

if there is only one screw on the side, then that is the idle and should have a spring or something on it
the air/fuel screw is on the bottom of the carb
the pink tube is just a breather

Yep just like Blitz$ said.... Those carbs work pretty good but are a pain to adjust as you have to pull the carb off everytime you need to make an air adjustment.... the only fix for that problem is an intake manifold that will get the carb away from the engine so you can get a screwdriver to the air screw... Why they ever designed it like that is beyond me..

i hate my carb, i have to take off the carb everytime i wanna tune it. my settings are still messed up but rideable so i kept it, but yes that adjustment is on the bottom. you can try and bend a screw driver but its easier to take it off or like 125cc said, get a rotator plate or a diffferent manifold

and so you know, on the screw that is on the botom, the lean/rich adjustment is backwards compared to the stock carb. to lean it out you have to screw it to the left, to richen, turn it to the right. and i found a easier way to adjust.take the bolt on the right side of bike out, and just loosen the other bolt. then you can just turn the carb enough to get to the screw with a very small short flat head.
