Do you want a direct bolt on part or are you willing to do some machining?

what type of machining? i can do anything short of welding. what i dislike about the suspension setup on the x7 is that the shock does not attach directly to the
swing arm. instead it attach's to a black metal bracket, which then attach's to the shock. i don't know why its like that? maybe its about where the sprung weight is placed on the frame?? it just kinda looks a little cheap...
the pbu swing arms are nice but 195$..... the one at the very bottom of that page looks good, but theres no price on it...

-thanks for the feedback....I love pocket bikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!peace_symbolbows_s milie

Dr that's progressive link (Also know as a dog bone) for the suspension and it's better than a direct link. It allows more range or longer travel of the swingarm with less travel of the shock mechanism? I understand what it does but I'm not sure if you understand what I'm saying. What you have is a good thing. It maybe made of cheap materials but it's a good thing. If you want to change it try a aluminum pit bike swingarm but you might have to machine spacers for it?

thanks nutty P... do real bikes use this "dog bone" suspension? is it performance oriented, or lazy rider style? would it be a stiffer, sportier ride without it?

Yeah all real 1:1 bikes have them. As a matter of fact there are numerous aftermarket companies that make different links for different applications and suspension tuning. Drag racers have bones with numerous holes so they can adjust their suspension to different tracks and conditions. To my knowledge roadracers don't do that they switch out the whole unit if they change it at all. Your major problems with your bike (And I'm getting this from other people who own one "Swheels") is that the rear shock needs to be replaced and the front forks need some help...OK a lot of help. Get those two things sorted and your bike will ride a hundred times better. Read the threads "Shocking Revelations" and ??? I can't find it  I thought Swheels had brought his fork mod thread here? Anyway read the first and we'll see about the second. cowboy

...hey one other thing, what would be the best handling setup for the rear as far as spring rates, and ride hight?...
