for those who have been hearing me talk about my x15 paint, its finally done, not the greatest, but not bad for my first time using a paint gun. it needs a seat... but i'm still planning on buying the x7 bod kit for $170 when i get the cash
i have a few more pics on my pbp "$100 x15 thread"

Trust me when I say this........ for the minor body changes you want, I wouldn't even bother. You got the bike, it runs, and you got the paint down the way you like it.
Ride the thing like ya stole her and enjoy the hell out of it....... you'll be happy you got a complete running bike!
Over a year later and I'm still just looking at mine.
BTW........ You did a fantastic jobthumbsup2

thanks guys, it looks better in the pic than it does in person, i messed up on pretty much all the clear coat and it feels like sandpaper, (i really wish i didnt paint it, the china paint looked better than mine) i did the bottoms black with spray paint, as they always get scratched up.

I really am in love with the x7 body, it looks more realistic to me (like a cbr or r6) than a x15/18/19/22 (looks too "toy"ish, imo) and i can pick the color i want without having to spend a boat load doing a crappy paintjob (and i get a seat!)

if i decide to spend the $170 on parts, i really dont have much left to buy within that price range, ive done a carb, filters, head breather, new forks, replaced all the electrical, new spkplug, only thing i could see getting is sprockets, which are $40 or so, in my view, the only new motor upgrade worth buying would be a new motor, and those are rather costly, and possibly like some of you have done with a dual front disk set up (all i would need to buy would be a disk and the caliper for that)

If there was a way to make the x15/x19 fairings to look more narrow.I think that would be the ticket.thumbsup2 Because if you do scaled measurements.I'm pretty sure the x15/x19 are to wide compared to the full sized version.Oh plus raise the windscreen on there mid copies.Cuz as you in the pics on the fullsize ones. The windscreens are up more.thumbsup2

i agrree 100%, thats why i really dont like the look of the bikes, the tail is way to skinny for the super wide front plastics, and the windscreen part is very flexible, and i'm afraid of it cracking. Thats why i like the look of x7 plastics, they look skinny, and more like a real rep (and with zip ties, it makes everything easier to take off!)

compare the with of the real bikes to the mids
