Pic request: foot brake

My x15 I got didn't come with a foot brake or foot peg. I currently Just stuck a bolt and through on some fittings I had laying around to make one. I'm looking to find out if I need to purchase the whole foot peg assembly or can I get away with just the brake pedal?

i would say you need to buy new footpegs.... x18parts.com has pretty affordable ones.

What seems to be wrong with my brake cylinder?

I have the foot peg bracket thats broken in the picture with some slipon aftermarket pegs. I had to mod the stock ones for the slipons.
