from "tired" post
Yes the x bikes will frustrate you and test your Patience's and then some. But when you get it right the reward is a 10x's greater.

I know swheels, its a @#%^ing blast, for sure. And people at the track walked by the NSR w/o looking and then "ohhh look a mini R1!! thats awsome!!" kinda deal, custom pocketbikes are one of a kind no doubt...But i bought into xbikes orginally because i COULDN'T afford 1500 for a bike..now im in 1200 and i still need tires, suspension, motor work...... it took em less than 2 laps to overtake me from that far back, and i was jaming downshifts, rear wheel hopping, knees down, power sliding on the pipe, trail braking into the sweeper and the hair pin.. Nutty-Rant banghead. what do to??

Dude she's stalking you back there moon1 I can't remember her name off the top of my head but I read her column every month in Road Racing World. Dude they're grooming her to be the first women in MotoGp and she's getting there fast. If she passed you remember she does nothing but ride, has a pit crew with very experienced mechanics, sponsored equipment, and riding coaches.

Haha, its not Elena Myers. Its her leathers from her 600 races, but she had her kawi motard there that day. The kid just bought her old leathers off her. Some 12-14 yr old japanese kid was riding it. He wasent no slouch either though. It was Elena i wouldn't be disappointed at all.

BTW if you dont know who Elena Myers is, shes like 14-15 yrs old, has a pro racing license before she has a drivers license.. and shes FAST> he kawi motard was rapeing an aprilia SVX 450 w/ a legit rider on it.. she was definitively the fastest out there by far, but shes real modest and a sweet heart. The kinda daughter that would make you weep youd be so proud to see her on this kart track. Done a few AFM races w/ her too. She was gonna do red bull rookie cup but the series got canceled. Good eye though nutty.

Haha, if you DIDN'T get passed by her, it could only mean you were on the track man... Shes hands down one of thee fastest riders i've seen, specially at her age. Shes going pro before shes even 18... Hands down youll never say that phrase again once you've seen her ride buddy.

I mean...your a guy..were you doing this in your early teens? These are OLD photos btw.

i beileve anyone can do anything at any age (12 or older) on a real motorcycle if there given the proper training.....you can do it..this person obviously isnt afraid to ride a real bike and give it all the power it has and can control it so as far as i see age has no meaning just another racer whos ben given a bike early in life to ride

Yep KTM and Red Bull both pissed me off about the rookie cup this year. All those Kids whose careers have taken a big hit. Some could have signed other contracts but wanted the exposure. Actually though it's not Red Bull's fault it squarely on the shoulders of KTM. The screwed Kenny Roberts now they're screwing a group of U.S. kids.

Not that, shes just good at a really young age. Thats a huge amount of potential. Im sure a lot of us could do that..but we don't...and the first time i met her, she was w/ her dad, i didnt know her, i asked "are you riding too" she said ya, i said "wheres your bike" and she pointed to the one her pops was standing next too...i was struck w/ a stupid face, she just laughed . Never mentioned she was a pro till i seen her out the first time, and went back to talk to her again.. long and short of it, shes good, young, kind, and modest. Up most respect in my book is all. Makes me wanna have kids.. Crap, dont tell my mom i said that, shes been waiting for years now..

Its jacked, she was telling me she found out on a forum before they officially told her, then they said they were canceling it to take it to Europe but turned around and sold off all the bikes...wtf? They stopped running the 125s AND 250s? damnit... btw check this out

alote of us could do it but we dont.

everyone has potential and it can be reached and exceeded she probably found hers at a faster point then others

plus the money could be mostly in the favor...bikes arent cheap specially parts

but hey atleast it aint one of those kids you see at tha track with a 10 k bike and the driver is some spoiled kid who cant ride for squat let alone get the bike to not stall with the clutch several times bluelaugh

does he have the same black rear shock that i got? the one with the rebound adjuster? No but thats what he needs to control some of the wheel bouncing.
I was looking for some cheap rockshox that he could have taken them a part and used the lower end of the shock with the rebound adjustment.I should bolt right on to his existing shock.

i think she probably has more skill than most guys, as she does not have the body to throw the bike into turns,

i wish i could afford a track ready bike

I can get my dad to drive me and my bike to meet you somewhere in So.CA if your down to drive us to AZ.

My truck seats six adults. Right now we have two adults and two kids. If you two want in, then we are fully loaded. We will be bringing a toy hauler that can hold four fullsize quads, and sleeps 7 (I think). Should be plenty of room for our stuff...
I will figure out costs within the next month.
