Hello everyone. Most of you may not know me. All is good to those that do. I am long now retire from racing. I owned at one point the largest Factory Scooter/pocket-mid bike/ kart / Racing team ever assembled. (fACTORY Team HardParts with well over 50 members at the peak) We Built and Sold and Raced on Our Parts. This part of my life is long past. I have no plans on Building another team but I would like to pay the entry fees to one lucky rider. So I guess the Question is if A race League picks up the pace and produces an Event that I deem worth sponsoring WHo would like me to sponsorer them? and Why should I sponsor you? This invite goes out to all the members on this board. Last time I posted something like this on a Forum I ended up with over 50 riders. I belive Waldo was the first person I drafted and if my memory is right everyone was telling him noone would ever sponsor him. So what do you say. Who sould I sponsor and Why? Bring your cards to the table and let me see what you have.... Bobcheers11

Before I could honestly answer that challenge I'm going to have to get on one of these and see if I still got it. I think I do but it's been awhile. Getting long in the tooth also bluelaugh Not that I'm anywhere near his age or talent but if Springsteen can still run with Pair-a-9's I'll run till I turn to dust moon1 Oh and listening to Doc Dan (SCAD Professor) talk about racing (He must be late 50's) and still running a Aermacchi at Roebling Raceway bows_smilie . Yeah I can do it boxing11 .

I am not going to try and find someone that is the fastest. What I would really like to do is sponsor someone that is more about the goodness of the sport then the fastest. The kind of person that when brought up in conversation with others makes me proud to know I sponsored them. And yes midbike racer it would be nice to sponsor one on each side of the coast. Most of all We will need a strong independent race league. I am not saying something like the USSRL but Something that reflect the values of a league such as the USSRL. Nutty you as much as the rest of the people in here have a chance at me pying you fees. The thing I know most is it won't be because you are fast (Even thou that is nice) it will be because the person I sponsor is a upright person. I like what I see in most everything in here so why not tel me a little why I should sponsor you in this up and coming season. Thanks, bOB

since some of us are going to race in virginia and possibly other upcomeing events
a sponsor would really help some of us
mainly swheels since his bike has the best corner ability(most likely)

well im going to race at vir cuz i always wanted to race some kind of way legally
and since i dont know how to race at all, ive been taking in all the little fundamentals that you need to get around the track fast
if i wanted to be sponsered it would be because, im a team player, im competitive, and im dedicated
and given enough learn time i usually excel at whatever i try
too bad im old as well

IMO, we need to crawl before we can walk.
What I am doing is forming a midbike racing assoc. that will represent midbikes at events. There will be a few events next Summer that will raise the profile of midbike racing. I think those will be great venues to sponsor some riders because of the coverage. Coverage meaning outside of the PB and midbike industry coverage.
Thanks Bob for always helping.

Since I'm "New" to this that's why I'm taking it a step-at-time trying not to make the mistakes I made before. Planned my schedule out using your summer plans lets me see were I stand with a little testing and pickup racing. Swheels is light years ahead and I have to play smart to even try and stay in his wheel tracks. I don't have a yard stick around here "S" I've beat them over the head to many times cool_shades LOLOLOL Bob I'm honest with myself before anyone else and I won't waste my time and your money if I'm not up to the challenge. cowboy
