Thought I would introduce myself... My name is Brian and I race a 04 Honda NSR50 with a 63cc big bore kit, and lots of other extra's...
Was told about this site by someone on pocketbike planet and thought I would sign up. I've seen a few people on here that I know already...
I race with the Ohio YSR League (www.ohioysr.org)and have been for 4yrs now. I've won a few class championships and looking forward to winning the overall championship rock2 If anyone has questions about YSR/NSR's let me know, as I've raced both and have some knowledge of them.
If anyone wants to hook up and run on the track here in Ohio (Circleville Raceway) PM me and let me know. I'm always down for a few laps on the track!

that one dude on you tube with the drag ysr needs a stiffer shock and it would go high tens, my 250 quadracer runs low 10's with no nitrous so thats the motor he needs and then it would be a ride fa sho

The seat height on my x19 is about 24 inches. About a foot shorter.
BTW, what is the top speed on a stock NSR50?

My NSR has a 63cc big bore kit, it is 63cc 2 stroke and I'm not sure on the top speed... I don't have a speed'o
It hauls ass, that is all I know.
The stock NSR with stock gearing I think is around 60MPH, but if you regear it for more top speed, then I'm sure you can gain a few more MPH...
With a big bore kit, aftermarket exhaust, bigger carb, aftermarket ign, ect... I think I can go faster then 65MPH with some of the gearing I've got. I don't have any rear sprockets yet, all I have is a few front sprockets, they are easy to change and cheap!
I've got some really good onboard video from the last race at BeaveRun that I haven't uploaded to Youtube yet... as soon as I do I'll post it and you'll see how fast it is from my view point.
To show ya how big the bike is... it is bigger then a X18 or what ever...
This is my NSR next to my R6
Here is a link to some NSR specs from a 1999 NSR... almost the same as a 04 NSR, just a few things different.

Cool looking garage.
Trophies... leathers... banners.... tool chest... helmets... motorcycles... weed-wackers!
Maybe a good thread is for pics of our garages. dunno
It would be cool IMO to see where we all store and work on our midbikes. dunno

Haha I dont have enough room to work on my mid when it gets here I will have to tinker in the drive way and hope I can clear room for it to park in the garage.

Thanks, yeah I've got a clean garage! I like to keep it that way, less dirt, the better for everything!
The lawn equipment is going out in the shed as soon as I build one next spring! Then the only thing in the garage is the bikes and the wifes SUV. rolleye0010

Yep, that is Jamie Hackings old 03 Championship winning leathers!!!
I raced with them for 3yrs and then got the new leathers I've got now.
I bought them off Hacking to help one of his friends that was in the hospital and needed money.
They were great leathers and were super light! Loved them, they are retired and just hang in the garage now.

Yeah I watched Hackers first AMA race on a Kinko's Kawasaki and he was a sight to see. I remember when the leather went up for sale. Was it on Roadracing World or did they just report it? Anyway you've got a nice stable going.

No, I didn't get the leathers from Roadracing World... funny story... I was on ebay looking at some stuff and seen a user name that looked like Jamie Hackings, so I emailed him and asked if he was THE Hacking that raced. He said yes and I then asked if he had a set of leathers that he wouldn't mind getting rid of. He said he had 7 suits in the house, and the rest is history :)

Dude great one. I know he's auctioned off leathers but I can't remember when or what-who for. AAhh doesn't matter now. From what I see from TV land he seens like a hell of a nice guy. I don't think he likes the slow pace of change in the Japanese factories but that's the racer in him. They will beat a piece of crap part to death trying to make it work even when the rider is telling them what will work. And it ain't what they're trying to use. banghead
