Mid Bike Racer is the president but sometimes things have to take weird turns and I thought for 500 I would try and give a "Win one for the Gipper" speech. For you youngin's out there the Gipper was a character in a Ronald Reagan movie about Notre Dame (Also went there) winning a big time football game. We're on our way up, Mid Bikes I mean. If you haven't noticed I alway put Mid Bike in caps that's a little quirk of mine which reminds me and hopefully everyone else we ain't as small as we look. Mid Bike Racer put the Nation together just as the other site was falling into ruin and fast becoming a joke. X7 was banned for asking the wrong questions. 125 was banned for the same. When 125 was banned I knew I really didn't want to be there anymore. Not that X7 being banned didn't have the same impact I just didn't know why he was banned. 125 you have a great kid, he stood up and told us what happened and got the ball-rolling on getting you back. Yes I pop in now and then to see what's up and it's a desert. Mid Biker has pulled in members from far and wide and he has a vision. Do I know what the vision is...no not exactly but I can kind of see were's he's going and I'm more than willing to follow. No he's not smokin' herb he just sees the potential and wants to push the boundaries and see were it takes him. I really admire the guy and I've never met him in person (I really hope to rectify that some day). Swheels and I have talked on the phone just twice and I know when I get on the phone we can talk like two guys that have known each other for years. Schofell we started out butting heads but I had to give the man his due when he pushed me in a corner on a very valid point. I had a decent argument but his stomped all over mine. Mishka my little brother. Where that tittle came from I can't remember one day I just felt like saying it and I can't stop. Now that I think about it it had something to do with another member on the other site bashing us "Old guys". Mishka stood up to the little brat and told him he might not agree with the over the hill gang but he should still show a little respect for his elder's. I was convinced then that Mishka was in a class by himself. X7, what can I say? He seems to run in to walls head first. They knock him down and he gets up and keeps going. He might cuss a little and get a little down but that doesn't last long. X7 is a survivor. Swan Man, I have a thing about tagging people and Swanni just has that name that turned me that way. If I remember right Swan had a avatar of a leprecaun on a mini-bike. I told him Savannah has the 2nd largest St Paddy's day festival in the states and he should come see it. The invite is still open. RK for butting heads we really went at it until again I was shutup by your Busa speed video's. Man you've got mad skills and I'm hatin' on ya all the time. Rene I like to call you The King of Bling. For the summer event I was thinking we should have a show bike event with an award going to "Best of Show". Without you I would never have thought Mid's could be work's of art. Blitz the voice of reason. The tire guy. The I keep saying I don't know much about road racing so I'll wobble around at VIR. Man I've read enough of your post to know you might have some doubts now but when the flag falls you're going to see "The Red Mist". You might throw the bike in the weeds but you ain't gonna ride like a girl. You don't call your bike's Ninja for nothing. Ninja's don't advertise their strengths, and let people believe they have weaknesses. Sorry to out ya bra'. Bri you guys haven't heard him yet. He's signed on but hasn't said a thing. He has a hell of a race bike. Red new good friends are hard to find and you're both. After you'd posted 2 or 3 times I knew you were the real deal. I know you've been on or around some major teams, but modesty is something I think comes second nature to you. I haven't asked but one day I will. Who, What, Why, When, Where, and How. If you don't want to answer I'll respect that, but that will just make you more likeable to me. Shooter the artist, Newb the curious, punch the mad mechanic, Nek the wild child, Fireman the fish out of water (Bro you ain't you just think you are), Stuntn one vision and it's straight, Hole The Art of The Deal the Trump of Mid, Kev you're just nasty, and JMK the closet X22 fan. There are others to mention but I don't have a feel for them yet, but I've got each and everyone of your back's if you need me. Let's see what the next 500 brings. Knowing me like I do it should be interesting to say the least

Wow, great post mate!bows_smilie

What to say about yourself? Ideas man, sometimes referee when things get heated, ever ready to help out with your knowledge and experience. "It can't be done" just isn't in your vocabulary. Few people earn my respect. You are definitely one of them. rock2

I probably wouldn't answer too many questions about my racing history. Not because I want to be rude or secretive, I just don't see it as relevant. What matters now is how I can use that experience to help us take Mid Bikes (see, you've got me doing it now) to the next level. And I receive as much here as I give and for that I'm grateful to all of you. "Greater than the sum of the individual parts" is how I consider the thinktank that we have here in the Nation.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Thanks to MidBike Racer for creating this forum. It's something special that will continue to go from strength to strength as the membership grows and the knowledge base expands.

Cheers,

Stuntn has me pegged bluelaugh I do talk to much. But it's what I do when I really believe in something. Mid's have killer potential and cheap racing is hard to find in this country. Even bicycle cost to damn much ($3 grand worth of road bike later speechless33 I learn this). My mouth keeps me in trouble though. When a situation or person is whacked I said it. No body likes to be told the truth about themselves. This Nation is full of killer people and I'm always looking for more to bully into joining bluelaugh As a salute to The Nation I want to give away a part. Yes it's used and is from a 1:1 but I figure someone can use it. It's bent but ask Swheels a little love and it will look like a million. It's an english made art pipe in blue. Pay the shipping and it's your's.

Naw I just felt like giving away something. One man's junk is another man's bling. I've got to clear some stuff out of my garage I'd rather give it away than throw it away.

WOW i didnt expect to see my name in there since i'm pretty new but it feels real good to know that whether there are new are old people here that they are family! I can only hope that as our community grows here that we keep this family instinct and not go the way of other forums....I am really excited about this site and its members I get a real good vibe when I'm on here and know that this is something good for all of us. I am dying to get my bike so I can feel official haha it will be soon and very soon I hope. Thanks again Nutt for such an awesome post and kind words and thanks everybody for making this feel like home online!

Great speech Nutty. I truly believe MID BIKES are the future of many trends in the world. I knew it when I first found out about the MIDS. I experienced it in my first ride. And I enjoy it when everybody who sees me on it wants to know where *they* can get one.

I'm proud to be a member of the Nation!!!

I ride my daughter around on a cheap Wal-Mart pink electric Razor and kids just love it. When they see the X22 their jaws are going to bust the asphalt. bluelaughbluelaughbluelaughbluelaugh

It's one of the Razor moped type scooters not the racer. That's what surprised me. The kids like the damn things, but they have no idea (I don't think) what a Mid is. It's a group of boys 13-14 years old. They sit in front of the house all the time with nothing to do it looks like. I got a plan to infect this little town. I haven't said anyhing to them yet. I just ride by and wave. When I cruise by on the Mid they'll probably crap on themselves. Then I'll stop and tell them what it is and were to look. Then they wouldn't see me for a while. Throw the bait in the water then take it away make them hungry then set the hook. I might get my house burned to the ground by X-mas bluelaugh by P-Oed parents but The Nation must grow. I wouldn't say I'm an evil genius just a bad semi-smart professor moon1
