ok i have to wait til this weekend when im off work to swap out these batteries to test its livelyhood. but my buddy and i took the bikes on a decent "trip" where we could open them up full throttle, it was maybe 5-10 miles...we get back and his overflow is spitting gas out ridiculously, i think it was going to dump the whole tank to be honest. well a while back his fuel filter faulted and started leaking so i had a brass coupler laying around and told him to use this instead so it wouldnt drip. so that was what was installed then when it started pouring out of the overflow hose. so we did some modifications to the old fuel filter and sealed her tight and put it back on thinking the carb was getting to much gas due to the filter being removed, well he ran it yesterday with the filter in and same thing, he parked it and the next morning it threw the whole tank up on the ground from the overflow....any ideas what this is, ordered one of those anodized fuel filters and am just waiting for the ups man. btw it would be a x19 we are refering to if that matters. thanks fellas

I would check the floatbowl vavle.Make sure that's not getting hung up.But first i would check the screw on the bottom of the float bowl and make sure it's tight.Sometimes you can tap the bowl of the carb. Then it would free up the flost valve if it's sticking.

the float is inside the carb
it works like a toilet, when the gas fills the bowl up, the float rises and shuts off the flow at a predetermined spot, if the float sticks, then the gas keeps running and it has to go somewhere
bottom line is the stock carbs suck and its the first mod i did bc of that
