Need a part for your bike?
http://www.pocketbikeparts.com/
I'm not sure how I came across this but thought the prices were fair and they are offering a Halloween special of 15% off, the code is REDRUM
I thought $64 minus the 15% was still kinda high for a front x15 rim but I needed to get it, I still have time to cancel if anyone has that particular design rim.
Anyone have any good words on this place????thank_s

By the time I start adding things up I could just buy myself a new bike instead, but if you know where I can get an x15 style rim for $35 I would think just about anything would be better than $54......but there's also free shipping and no so-called sales tax, so I figure it's all wrapped in the price somehowdunno

Hey Hole! You got a rim that can help me?
Also, I'm trying to find one of those nice colored air filters, yellow, red, or orange, I just can't remember where I'd seen those danged things.
Y'all seen pics of my bike before, I'm thinking of changing my forks back to stock but just not quite sure at this point..........don't know how the spacing is going to look between the headlight fairing and the front wheel......for me things are gonna have to look proportionally correct, otherwise it just looks wrong.
But I'm all ears.

Just my opinion about your forks but if you're going to change I would go to USD forks. Maybe you don't want the performance but the look is smokin' thumbsup2

Do you have a pic or a link I could look at? I may consider it down the road sometime when there's a little more $$$ to play with......for now, I have to make sure my motor even runs, for all I know, the way the bike was beat, I wouldn't doubt if the motor's jacked too.......example (allen wrench used in my brake pedal and a busted shock)

i would jsut get a wheel and stunt that one and buy another one down the road......the forks are fine, the look is fine, as long as the bike works i would just ride and have fun on that one....its the perfect candidate to be a stunt bike.....the forks look beefy why would you wanna change em

I attached a few photo's to show you the look and the forks. Yes the last two photo's are 1:1 bikes but they're the best pictures I have to show you what I mean.

They don't really bother me all that much,,,,,,,,it's the overall height part of it, or length at least, that's got me a little worried. But I'm probably working myself up over nothing.
Yeah, I could probably stunt it and have some fun, BUT, I have other ideas in mind and also being 35 don't help much as abuse to the body don't heal as quickly as it used to.
I'm more about showing the bike off and tricking it than I am about stuntin', however fun that would be, the bike has already seen it's worst days, it's time I put life back into her and make her drop dead beautiful again....thumbsup2

Okay guys! Your hangin' me by my toenails here! It isn't that I don't WANT to have fun, it's just that right now I can't.......no health insurance!!!
I left a good paying aerospace job almost 2 years ago for my window cleaning business that's pretty much going nowhere, kinda dead in the water and got no insurance. I got word that that company needed guys really bad and had me convinced that they would take me back, well, it turns out they flat out rejected me and want nothing to do with me. So here I am!!!
I can customize one mean looking mid, show it off at some of our weekend car/bike shows, and I guess see what happens and take it from there.
But till then.......I ain't riskin nothin'rock2

Junior Mechanical Tech.
The funny thing is they had guys there 13 YEARS before they gave them the title of Mechanical Tech.
So you're pretty much owned and they do with you what they want.
Nature of the business I guess.
I'm a published artist, a creator, costume designer, you name it, this is what I am and should be doing.
Building this mid for me right now is a good place for me, the reward will come when I can share it with the rest of the Nation.
I know I got your supportrock2

I think I got one for ya!!!
The wheel on my bike was supposed to be a rear but was used as a front.......go figure!
This wheel has got to go cause I have one for an X15 on it's way!
Also, if anyone thinks they would have any use for my front shocks lemme know, probably from a chopper or something. I'm discovering I can't and don't want to use them because there's no mounting for any brake calipers.....the calipers that were on the bike were more for looks and were busted at the bolt hole, they tried some sort of U-bracket type mounting which didn't work and I don't want the same problem for myself.
Anyway, I got front shocks if anyone is in need of a setthumbsup2

Yeah, that's sort of what is happening with Asian Concept. I'm trying to explain to them that I don't want to become a distributor, I just want to know who we can buy their stuff from. bluelaugh

Nutty: I remember someone over on PBP was talking to Akunar about a close-ratio 5 or 6spd transmission and said they came back with a price of ~$350. While you're talking with them maybe you could remind them about it. I'm certainly interested in getting one. thumbsup2

Had a chat with Ranuka from Akunar. There isn't enough room in these chinese engine cases for 5 or 6spd. But they may consider doing a close-ratio 4spd which would still be an improvement. I've invited him over to the Nation to get an idea of what we are doing and where we're trying to go. thumbsup2 They have a 180cc Jailing (GPX) running. speechless33
