Hey everyone, Im trying to find some other wholesale importers who I can add on as suppliers for these PB's and Midbikes. I have 2 we deal with now and they only carry the x-22. Any ideas on names of specific importers or brands youve heard of? If so, do tell. I can hook up with them as and add them to my dealer line and to my wesite as well, and of course give members of the Nation the best deal.bows_smilie

If you can prove that you are going to change your ways in how you run your business then i can hook you up with something. Shoot me a pm with what you think is a reasonable price. I can get the x15s,x18 and x19s along with pit bikes and atv's.

Just a friendly request. I wouldn't like to see this forum become a site for a vendor war. I've seen such things destroy other forums and in general it makes it very unpleasant for all the members.

There isn't a vendor out there in any field that has a perfect record for customer service. The difference between good and bad is the good recognise their failures, do what is necessary to correct them and strive to prevent them occuring again. The bad just try to pretend it didn't happen or they blame someone else.

Olson: Have you considered importing yourself? There are sites that can connect you with wholesalers/exporters in China and elsewhere that often have low minimum quantity levels. This would allow you to directly control your stock, rather than relying on an in-country importer. It also gives you the opportunity to bring in desirable goodies that others don't, thus making your business unique rather than just being another retailer of the same old items. Hang around here and you'll get a picture of what we are looking for. thumbsup2

Agreed red!
Not only do I not want to see any vendor wars, I am also going to be inforcing Midbike Nations #1 rule...

1. No advertising in any way unless you are a Midbike Nation sponsor.
Advertising is only permitted by officially recognized site sponsors and advertisers.
Advertising includes, but is not limited to, direct & indirect solicitation of business in posts, business contact information, use of corporate logos, or use of any language or image that can be construed as an advertisement.
Posting is defined by posts in forums, signature files, personal messages and e-mails sent from MidbikeNation.com.
Posting links to companies that are in direct competition with any of the MidbikeNation.com sponsors is prohibited.

I think this is a very fair rule and very common with other communities.

Red,

I agree, but just to clear things up i was offering to help olson and get him some bikes.

Also, directly importing is a great suggestion however you need to order a huge quantity and be prepared to put up a large amount of $$$. You also need to have a agent and lawyer to manage paperwork and such and you need to pay fees for use of a dock. In short it ain't cheep man.

I have researched it a fair bit, Holeshotz. Remember, I'm the unlucky one living in a country with no sellers of midbikes. And 99% of sellers in the US are to lazy to ship internationally. thumb_down

There are exporters in China who will sell as few as 5 bikes at a time. Many will work to minimum $$ levels for combined bike/parts orders that are within reach of small operators. Obviously the price is higher than buying a container load, and shipping is more expensive. But it can be done.

I know you offered to help Olson, it was your opening words that concerned me. I posted to nip a potentially nasty situation in the bud. I've seen such things spiral out of control before. My point was play nice, no cheap shots. You can hurt yourself with such statements as much as the person you aim them at. Olson has admitted he screwed up and has made a commitment to improve. He deserves a chance to do so, as does anyone else.
