2 days ago my x18 was starting and running fine. Today i try to start it, and it starts for a while then shuts off, and when i take off, i have to keep throttle fully/half way open or else it boggs down and shuts off. It seems like gas is not getting to the engine, but gas is flowing perfect to the carb(i checked). I cleaned the carb with some carb cleaner and put it back... and it still has trouble starting and its still bogging down. Is there anything else that can be causing this problem?

check your plug gap and the color
and your spark and do the finger test for compression.
and just wondering the motor is nice and warm when your haveing this issue? ive seen some customers at my old job complain at bogging when they first started there bikes and tryed reving out like crazy and it would bog since it was cold

the engine is cold when i have this issue, but how would i warm up the engine if it wont idle.

let it warm up. the motor needs to be nicely warmed and have oil circulate throughout the whole topend and all that and warmed up
if its cold its almost normal
keep the choke up let it idle for around 2 or 3 minuntes then push it down and ride
but check the color of your spark plug just to see if after 3 minutes of idleing and still giveing you slight bog issues you could be a bit lean.

Thats the problem, even when choke is up it doesnt idle.. the spark plug had no spark when i checked earlier...but it still turns on sometimes.

okay, how low is the idle screw at on your engine?
and could you check the color of your plug? if its idleing issues it could be lean aswell.

I havn't touched the idle screw since i got the x18 and it was idleing fine before, and the spark plug is black(BURNT COLOR)

it may help a little bit but try getting your hands on a spark plug C7HSA
and if its black..your running rich but try to work with what you have and clean out the spark plug make sure your getting a nice blue spark
if its haveing a idle issue try turning the idle screw in a little bit if it doesnt idle
the idle screw is the one with the spring on it,

has anything else ben touched? try putting the choke down to see if any improvement shows on starting,
also take a look at the carburator once more and the botom of the gas tank to see if theres any possible debree that may be getting into the carburator

i tried the choke down and up, it still doesn't start or idle...the plug has a nice blue spark, and i sprayed some carb cleaner through the hole where the gas goes in the carb...is there anything else i should do to clean the carb?

take out the jets the main one and the pilot jet (or idle) and clean them thurouly
did you find anything lingering on the bottom of the gas tank?
sometimes metal peices may be in there i would use a magnet and get anything thats in there that might not be visible to the eye
gasoline is brand new correct?

holy crap....i just turned the key off and kick started it, and now it runs absolutely perfect. omg i feel so dumb. I guess something in the wireing was affecting it from starting.
