CFRC ( http://www.centralfloridaroadcourse.com/ ) envited Team BMS to check out there Kart track to see it it was mini bike worthy and if we had any interst in doing trackdays or racing at CFRC. Was pretty cool as we (myself and TJindo16) were the first motorcycle to ever get on the track. We were able to put in 4 20Min sessions in. I was actually impressed with the surface of the trace as the hold drifting, kart, and car track days in certin parts of the track. That being said our only complaint is the cones. They had 1' tall cones guiding the track in most corners and most were knocked down with our elbows and knees.
Looks like they will allow mini bikes and mini motards (only) on Tuesdays from 12-6pm and Saturdays 12-6PM in between the Kart sessions. They really want at least 6 riders on saturdays to make it worth while for them. It was $25 (with track transponder) to ride, ya cant beat that.
This is just the beginning, if it gets bigger they will do night races (very well lit) and race events. So if you live near by even a few hours away please feel free to contact me @ ShawnBassett26@yahoo.com so we can coordinate a track day.
We cant have people just show up. This NEEDS to be organized and smooth. As soon as some goon messes it up we will have nothing. Any one needs any info my Email is in my first post and if need to call me just email me first.
