chain?

I have an x18 and need to shorten the chain, do i need to buy a chain breaker just to get the chain off the bike? I was planning to just take it off and have it done buy someone else but didn't realize it was wrapped around the top frame.

you gotta find the master link and take it apart to get the chain off
then you need a chain breaker to remove links

can the master link be removed by hand or chain breaker?

yeah you can use a chain breaker or if you got a grinder then you can take links out that way but a chain breaker is easier

Will a bike chain break work because I have one from when I used to work on bikes and that would be nice not to have to buy anotherrock2
