Just got my Lifan 125cc in my X7 and I'm trying to get everything set up right. I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a shifter for the X7 like the one that stuntnX7 has, or if the X18 shifter setup woll work? Right now I've got an old honda shifter turned backwards. It gets the job done but makes shifting difficult because of my big a$$ foot, especially down shifting(foot hits ground)!

International pattern,1 down 3 up. But in my case(shifter backerds) 1 up 3 down.

you can try shifter for a x15, its direct with no linkage
or any dirt bike should be the same

If you have a large foot you might want to adapt a 1:1 shifter for your bike. Try a salvage yard to see what's cheap. The one I use is Steve's Cycle Salvage. The shifter is longer but I have no idea if it will fit. I'm looking at using one I have on the shelf for my 125cc build up.

My buddy at the Yamaha dealer is suppose to be checking to see if he has something that can easily be made to fit. I might try one of the GSXR shifters.
So nobody knows if the X18 setup will work? or if anywhere sells the shifter for the manual X7. I've done a lot of searching and haven't found anything.
Appreciate all of the help guys!

it was suicidal shifting that thing
but any dirtbike that can be a bit in front but over the flywheel cover should be good

i think that the reason that the X7 110cc stock heel-toe shifter is so hard to find is that a part of the shifter linkage is actually welded to the frame. so unless your X7 came with the heel-toe shifter i dont think u will find one. what i did with my X7 with a Lifan 140cc 4 spd. is mounted an adjustable shifter linkage like the kind available thru ebay. i also had to turn my shifter around so it is actually all 4 gears down, not up. once i got it adjusted right it wasnt so bad to use. the only part u have to watch for is downshifting. if your foot is hitting the ground why not try raising up the shifter a notch or two. that is what i did and after a couple weeks of riding i was used to it. my shoe size is only a 10 tho. so i guess if your foot is alot bigger than that then i might be more of a problem. but as for me i havent hit my foot on the ground downshifting in over 3 months and i ride about 5 days a week, maybe more sometimes. i also mounted my clutch lever which is a 2 finger lever right above my rear brake lever on the left side. that way when im doing wheelies i can still use my left hand for the rear brake. they both fit up there just fine and still have plenty of clearance. because i thought that a foot activated rear brake would be harder to use on an X7 in particular.
