we didnt get to run as much on sunday cuz alot of motards showed up
there were to huge clubs that came from arizona and florida
he said it was the biggest turnout in a long time
he also said that if we midbikes keep comming we can get our own class and stuff just like all the others
he said 'what do you guys want to be called" and we all said 'midbikes!!!!

thanks S
turns out you can ride the crap outta these bikes
with alot of prep of course, a stock bike would get lapped
the fastest motard guy i saw out there was running 39 second laps, i timed one of mine and it was 58
and everybody else was faster than me tho i never finished last cuz of wrecks and beating a 110 which if we had classes that wouldnt have happened
it was a blast to do and everybody was nice
a few things really stood out
there was this 8yr old kid riding the pocketbikes
he was leading the race by a bit cuz he was really good, then he eats it at the same turn i did, flips in the air and all
he gets up and gets passed but he starts going again, after about two laps later on the final lap he takes the lead back and wins the race
it was amazing
my wife RUNS to the kid to give him a hi5
we find out later that he broke his rightside foot peg completely off, he had to just hold his leg up

bangheadbangheadDamn... I knew it! I could of been the only NSR out thereIt would have been great to see you out there.thumbsup2 The guy that mowed down everybody on the track was running a 95cc 4t motor with a tagawa superhead. That bike was fast than the 250cc 4t's.It was sick.Mr Gianni was there he had a custom pocketbike that he built. The motor in it was a 50cc 4t pushing 16grand for rpms and 12lbs torgue at the rear wheels

Swheels I look at it like this about the Tard guy. He spent how much to go that fast? If you spent half that with the way we do ort thing what do you think would have been the result? Yeah I thought you would see it right away. The Nation came The Nation saw and The Nation learned. We're young but we ain't dumb bows_smilie bows_smilie thumbsup2

Todd brought his metrakit. It had a cr85 engine in it that was built by boyseen (sp) and had a malossi top end on it. Really fast bike.

BTW, Brian ask John P (terminator) about the whoopin i gave him on sunday.

Tommy D was riding it saturday, not Todd (the owner). Tommy really knows how to ride, he rides for honda america on a crb600.

Carlo was just nuts, 39 second lap time is insane. I was getting as low as 41.9 but averaging around 43second lap times. I was very consistant though, my lap times were always a second apart throughout the whole race. Still gotta get my suspension dialed in.

Yeah, so it was a fast Metrakit like Tyler Butt's... He has a RM85 motor in that thing! I'll ask John next time I talk to him! thumbsup2

That's where class structures need to be in place. It gives the people on tight budgets a chance to race competitive environment.

But the 1st rule of tuning remains absolute. It costs money to get max performance. Unfortunately you aren't going to compete with them on a small budget.

Cheers,

bu
Red I know but a small budget racer with a lot of talent can make up a lot of money deficit. Not all but a lot. A talented racer on a money bike leaves no room for the up and coming or the "I just love this, but I don't want to finish last every weekend because I can't buy a $4,000 motor". Just venting on this one Red cheers11cheers11
