Hey guys..I want to add one of these:http://www.morepoweracing.com/lur9mY1247233/Sportbike-Body-Parts/Fuel-Caps/Carbonworks-Gas-Cap-Cover/c-1-508-3353-3308/ to my x-18 when I get it.
How would it work with the factory gas cap or is it needed?Anyone add one of these?I know 125ccCrazy has lol thats where I got the idea from, his red drag bike.Is there a certin place besides that to get the right one from?Any installation opinions or how tos would be nice too lol.rock2

i believe the x6 comes with them like that..
that would look sick tho on the x18,15..
i was thinking of doing something like that
on my 15 but idk...
ur going to have to cut and bondo for it
to fit i believe.
i will probly try it out if i can get my hands
on one of those! maybe even make a how to lol

i just looked around on ebay..
i think it maybe even easier to do it..

looks like there are maybe like 3-4 bolts that u just have to drill threw the
gas tank cover... but then, u might need to make like a little
tube that connects to the gas tank so gas wont spill..i think lol..
but this looks like it will work..
i might try this out and get one right now cuz im
doing body work on my bike so i guess this will be the best time
to do it lol. :D

Experience again...make sure it's good quality. If not gas on the cap will cause the finish to go cloudy. Other than that go man go rock2

we got a guy fabing a metal tank for a x-18-15(torquehead) it will have a shut off valve and a reserve(petcock off a 1971 cl175 scrambler)that way the big bike gas lid will slap and shut tight.I mostly want one so I can lock mine around here when left outside..sugar or salt doesn`t do a cylinder wall good( a-hole kids around here). Also so I can shut the fuel off if need be and a reserve if I am out riding and don`t think to run to the gas station in time(fun factor)...flip on the reserve and jet to the station then lol
