is there a way to put a gas gauge any mid bike? cause im getin tired off having to take off the cap :( or some way to check it easer when im ridein

It might be possible to use the gas cap for like a lawn mower that has a float under the cap and a lil guage on top. I'll grab 1 from work 2 morrow and see if its possible!

I have thought of that like using a artic cat 400 gas gauge(its on the gas cap) but the tank is to shallow for it to work.

Just cut it to fit and rebend the metal holding the float... I think, I dont kno what the Artic Cat's look like.Thats How a lawnmower cap would work.

Good question Baby Bro? A level float type gas meter would be hell to use in a small tank. A air sensor gauge would be labor intensive for people who hate wiring. I'll see what's out there but probably the old way is the best. On my CBR I had a reserve petcock. When the bike started to miss I knew I was empty. I switched to reserve and rode to the nearest gas station. Simple idea but it didn't bother me at all. After a while I could either read the mileage or feel how empty the tank was and refuel before I hit reserve. The only drawback was if you don't turn it from reserve to fuel tank after refuel you ran through the tank and the reserve. I never did that but plenty of people have.

how do u fit a reserve on a x19 if u know and how can u hook it up to the origanal toobs or gas tank and stuff? great idea
