http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/mcy/1743138068.html <---here's the craigslist post that i found on the x18.

I've had my X8 for a while and it's just not cutting it for me anymore:dunno: I want more power and i really want to stunt so after reading all the threads on here I have determined that this bike would be the best bet for me..

any input?

Well if its burned out then it doesn't run right? So if I tell him 250 like swheels said and its not running how low do I go?

haha brakes and a clutch, i think you could low ball that guy. No one wants to buy a toy thats broken... except folks like us, but we broke so id gripe about money and the engine work, brakes, parts availblity, then say you got 200 cash...take it or leave it. IMO there worth 350-400 without requiring work, if it needs a bunch of work, its been riding ragged already. Your taking risk buying it. At least tell him that. GL on procuring a bike man!

If everything else is in good shape take it and run. But plan on buying another motor. Not big deal just part of buying a Mid someone else screwed up.

And dude you're not bothering us. We or at least I don't mind helping you or anyone else make a decision on a bike. Letting you get screwed even-though I don't know you would make me feel like crap. We're in this for the fun and if people keep getting dumped on there are less people to have fun with. On the same note don't get pissed when we tell you like it is. We don't blow smoke up peoples butt and say it gold smoke. If it's crap we say it's crap or we argue among ourselves about what's crap and who doesn't know what they're talking about bluelaugh But in the end we work it out. Just a family fight is all it usually is :bananar:

Hey guys whats up. I spoke with the guy who was selling the x18 for 320 and we lowered it down to 200 that leaves me with 200 to spend on parts and such.

Too bad the one going for $150 is gone :'(

So I was looking for a clutch and i came up short. Can any of you point me in the right direction as to which sites I should check?

I'm going to pick the bike up tomorrow so I will post pics as soon as I get it thumbsup2thumbsup2

Oh, they're well built, but shock isn't the best one and engine is too small. 140 for pit bike is ok.
