I have been calling around and it seems like most places are out of midbikes.
Anyone know where NEW ones are in stock?

i found an add on CL and it said...
2008 x18r pocketbike for sale needs to be rewired or new wiring harness New battery like new tires, fresh racing oil change, high performance c.d.i added, iridium spark plug
new light bulbs for turning signals and such not installed but included last but not least a actual yoshimura full exhaust system accepting all trades and considering all offers
the exhaust alone cost me over 400 dollers
he told me he would take $200. it looks in good condition.
wondering if this "wiring problem" is gonna be a can of worms though.
worth it you think? i was thinking about getting it.

wiring probs dont mean anything to a racer, your gonna redo it anyway

Well, the deal fell through. banghead
The bike was about an hour and a half away and we set up a place to meet and then I found out there were many other problems with it. I guess the pic of it was long ago. No biggie. I will keep looking. May call mini pocket rockets and see if they are really in stock.

I was looking at the sdscooter site and I stumbled upon the FAQ or something as I don't exactly remember right now. It was definitely was on there site though, it had good info on why there so hard to find. I don't know if you guys already knew it but I guess the new ones are restricted to 35mph with no lights or gauges which is fine if your racer you don't need all that and your probably goin to do a motor swap anyway but I love riding mine at night the best.

The (laws) won't allow them to come into the states with lights and the 35mph gov is just the slide in the carb u can buy a light kit for +35 tho and buy a new car and your all.set mine was a 2010 and I bought the light kit and it only went about 30 with the restricted carb
