hey guys, at my new job, they have what seems to be a full NSR roller out back,
aside from the motor and pipe, it all seems to be there. its a bit beat on, but structually seems to be in decent shape.
If i can get ahold of it, how much do you guys recon it would cost to either put a stock nsr50 motor and pipe on.
or possibly do a crf100 conversion.

Get with Fireman 343 he was selling conversion kits damn cheap! In my humble opinion I "WOULD NOT!" put a stock or even crunk up NSR motor back in there. I like 2 smoke and I'm even looking to put one in my X15 but the stock motor is a dog.

well, i guess the picture is a bit misleading, the tail section would need to need to be replaced, (the other side is held together with zip ties)
and i really didnt have much time to look at it, but monday i'll find out some info on it and do a look over.
if i did start another project (which i would love to do as i am alot closer to a track now that i've moved) it would be one slow ass process as i live in an apartment now, and all my tools and everything are an hour north. but if all it needed was a motor and mounts, once the parts were collected, i think i could manage to get it rolling in a solid weekend in the shop.
( and i could fart around the shop parking lot in it )
only bad thing is i only get paid once a month, so it would be a bit before i could load it in the truck.

unless i can get a good deal on it, i think it would just be cheaper to buy a mid 2000 85, they can be easily found under the 1k mark, and $200 in tires and i'm good to go.
