So some of you guys met my kid at Dublin. He still plays with the mini's and midsize bikes on occassion, but has pretty much moved on to bigger stuff.
Here is a helmet cam from his first practice on Firebird Main. Skip past the first 3 minutes or so....

Heh. No worries man, most of us know what a practice is like. @#$in' cold tires...
Id be weary of those tire walls too! He was going good though man, specially if you mean that was his first smash on that bike. Bet your proud!
No main GoPro?

I don't expect a win at all this year. The only guy consistently faster than him (defending champion, I think)is still about 7 seconds faster per lap. Consistency is more our goal than flat out speed. That's where the experienced guys have a clear advantage. He can click fast laps, but he needs to have more fast llaps grouped together.

Me, too. And I bet he does, too. bluelaugh

LW Supersport,Thunderbike, and now LW Superbike, and ULW Superbike....basically all the LW classes he is legal for.

He rode the bike before, but not on that track, with that gearing.
Cold DOT tires, at that! Just got the first set of the DOT Race skins mounted up for the next trackday / race.
We have some video of the actual races, but he requested I don't post them...yet. He is still a bit paranoid / superstitious about it.

Thanks! I'll let him know. We still reminisce about the Rialto races you put on back in the day. Good times. thumbsup2

No doubt. The SV isn't my cup of tea, but it sure is fun @ trackdays! And they are plentiful.

Race video from this weekend. Horrible start, but the finish was alright. 3 more second place finishes on the weekend.

Breakthrough! This past weekend he got 3 wins out of four races. The 4th race was a second place finish. Not bad for the first time on a big (2.75 mile) track. Here is a rear view of the LWGP class.

First full season is over, and it went pretty well. Rather than write a novel, I will post a link to the results: http://www.roadracesw.com/results.html
Chaz is rider #88.
