Due to the fact I dont think the mr2 will hold up to track abuse I picked up this 00' s2k to beat the crap out of on the track. Need to do some upgrades such as full roll cage an new tires before I can get it out on the track.. Already put a new diff in it an got a set of drive shaft shop axles for it.

......to beat the crap out of thinking_smilie ... hell, I'd be happy just to drive it the way it is.... or at least what I see in the pics anyways :dunno:

Yo, I love the s2k's sooooo much. I was gonna get one but my mom thought that the insurance would be to high since I was 17 at the time (18 now) and got me an Infiniti G35 coupe instead. Anyways, what differential did you put in it?

just a new honda ap2(2004-2009) diff, suposed to be 40% stronger than the ap1(2000-2003) diff

No, and no. If anything i may put a supercharger on the s2k.

supercharger? I like inlinepro's turbo kits for the s2k. 400 hp on 14 psi (with 3mm head gasket)!!!

I'd drive the wheels off it. I use the s2000 as my car of choice for the drag racing game on my phone. I play it online and i crush so many people with that car is not even funny. I'm addicted to that game.LOL
I'm surpise the Mr2 didn't sell but i guess in this economy.Everyone is tightening their belts.

S-2000's are cool, Even my neighbor a CPA (certified public accountant) looks cool in his as he hits the S-curve on our hill! The kids down the street don't like him though, he smokes them in their Civic-Si thumb_down

Nice Ride Dude! I'll Trade you for my Hyundai Accent any day! bows_smilie

I'll even toss in my crappy Custom Mid-bike! :dunno:

lol originally thats what my intention was for my prelude i picked up then a year later i was like what did i do lol then i just took it to shows and the track and used it as my calling card so to speak for business purposes got a lot of work from taking this one around lol

lotta fun with this car and before this all i ever had was muscle cars talk about a major transition going from 500+hp cars to at the time stock 180hp car fwd i just panned on making a road course fun car and went a totally different direction after the motor was built i guess

in the first pic i drove all the way up to new england dragway from boston with no hood cuz it didnt come in yet and i still took home runner up lol

Thanks its a little to fast and furious for me now lol I can't wait till this winter to tear it down and loose the spoiler and put on the carbon trunk and roof and now there are a couple new front frame/cradle braces im thinking I'll keep the body kit cuz its cheaper than getting stock bumpers again and maybe I'll get to take it to Englishtown for a little track time instead of the dragway so I may just get back on track with this car finally lol the s2ks are nice for the track I always felt like I was beating the hell out if that car on the street tho
I always wanted to do the spoon coupe kit for mine but never got the chance I got tboned 3 weeks after I got it lol

When I was a sound engineer, there was a shop called "Monster Miata's" right up the street! They used to do test runs right by the studio!

Monster Miata's !!! rock2 (http://www.monstermiata.com/)

LaForza Was right across the street doing the badazz rang rovers too!

Got the hard top today. not the best quality but for a track car its fine. was able to fit the main hoop. Gives me 4" more heigth than the stock rool hoops. just enogh protection for me with a helmet on (by less than an inch )
