The link I posted below is How-To-Build-A-Flow-Bench!!!I really want one of these but I'm not sure where to get the gauges? All I would need is a simple flow bench not what he builds later. Maybe someone (Red?) has an idea of what we're looking at an can simplify the design or explain it better. This is something I've never dealt with but I want too. Tools like this is how you build your own Takegawa beater.

If my drawing skills are up to par.I think i could design something very simple to measure engine performance.I like it but kinda don't understand it.

A bit of reading for you while I work on an explanation of "Principles of Flow-bench Testing". The explanation will be basic as I'm no expert in it myself. This is really getting deep into the dark art of engine tuning and is something I usually left for the specialists when it came to my race engines. My knowledge is only what I gleaned when they allowed me to watch them at work. hangloose

OK now I don't feel so stupid about not understanding what I was reading. Did the guy just leave out a lot thinking we could fill in the blanks or was holding his cards close and showing the rope-a-dope?wtf

i have access to a flowbench and have my own porting tools ... if your brave enough i can do some work for ya / get some numbers.

If you remember from another site I polished a FZR head but made no attempt at porting. I read to many nightmares about hack jobs and I a man who knows his limitations. Schofell I might just take you up on that offer if I get a head I think needs to be flowed (Read a large valve or top secret project head. Hey I a racer I have to keep at least one thing in my pocketboxing).
