What do you all put in your tank?
I have only used Chevron unleaded 93 octain.
Anyone use racing fuels?
I took a look on VPracingfuels.com and there are a ton of choices.

I use a blend of race fuel and 93 Octane Cause the race fuel evaporates very quickly.

A lot of guys are saying the race gas is to much for a stock engine. When you start upgrading to higher conpression and big block kits the VP will probably come in to play. But stock that stuff will probably eat up some of the fuel lines filter or hell the tank for all I know. The fuel is good the bike just isn't good enough to use it out of the box.

The mix I use is 80% fuel and 20% race fuel and yup it will eat fuel lines.

stock engine i use 87,89,93 it all is not that big of a difference on a stock motor.

For a modified motor i would run 93.
And for a stroker motor with lot's of mod's i would run a lower octance race fuel. 100 octane would be enough for most cases.

i agree with the first statement. i run cam2 (110 octane leaded) the lead is good for valve seats and i have a 125 big bore with a high comp piston so i need the octane.

I use VP110 in my C2. Its a 2-stroke with 15.8:1 measured CR.

From VP Racing Fuel's site:
VP-110
Not your "standard" 110! Highest rated MON of any 110 fuel on the market. Formulated for use in naturally aspirated engines with CRs up to 14:1. Works well in 2-strokes. Good lower cost alternative.

• Color: Purple
• MON: 107
• RON 113
• R+M/2 = 110
• Specific Gravity: .720-.735 @ 60° F

Due to the fact that this fuel supports just 14:1, I also add a percentage of Toluene. Toluene has a shelf octane of 114. You can effectively add up to 30% of Toluene and raise the value to match your need to avoid detonation. Oh, I have no trouble with my fuel lines. hangloose

i use 93 bcuz 87 was missing and stumbbling a little so went to 93 but i think i ran 89 1 time and it fixed it too so i would go with 89 or 93 for stock engines

92 octane. never had a problem with lines or filters.... just be sure to drain it when not in use. Leaves a nasty varnish in your carb or injectors. Pain to clean...
