I want to know when "MIDS" started making the scene. all the information yall can give me and I want to see what I can do about writing all this up since I have this summer off from college. I'm going to try to get "MIDBIKE REVOLUTION" started, for the ones that don't know what I'm talking about it's a "Midbike Magazine". Let see if we can get our brains to work together.

I first rode a pocketbike back in 06' and wanted one, so I did my research and found "MIDS" at first I was going to get the X-17 or the X-22 and I did more research and found the X-18 so I debated and debated. Long story short I go the X-18 cause of the "street legal issue" and the rest is history.

I have gone crazy with my first X-18 and now I have now my stunt bike.
Last projecttrack bike and drag bike.

Well just to offer my insight.I remember back in the 70's there was the minibikes. Then the honda monkey bikes and so on.Then one day i wnet in to this tool shop and glance at this bike.I didn't know what they called it but i had an idea it could be fun to race.(Hence the first midbike)I think this was back in 02 might have been ealier. It look liked a prehistoric cat eye.Except it had to rounded head lights.Well i didn't jump all over it.Wanted to wait until something better came along. Then along came the x1's so that made me jump all over it.I kept calling them pocketbikes until a good friend of mines."said there called midi bikes not pocket bikes"Then BOOM all of a sudden everbody and their grandmothers were selling these things. They were all over peoples front lawn like they were having a garage sale.LOL

In my area Pepboys was one the business that started selling before any else. It was the X1. I wanted one but I wasn't totally sold at that point. I had been out of racing for a while and got the bug back at of all places a fun park racing go-carts. So I went on the net and found PBP and the rest is my history.

ive definatly seen a x8 and x6 in 2004 in florida the b1's i saw not much time afterYou might have seen the 2stroke versions(well they didn't have the same bodywork just the same tires and rims) of the x8 and x7.Because the b1's was 70cc then went to 90cc there last bike had a 125cc but was very rare and hard to get in the u.s.Man i wish my old computer was up and running i have tons of info in that thing.OOoo You know what other bike came out before the x8'and x6's?This one mibike that looked like a bird from the front. It was a 2stroke too.I'll find pics of these bikes and post'em.thumbsup2 almost forgot the x5's right before the x7's,hum i could be wrong on this though.Oh the x9's.Man if you think about it these little bikes came along way in a short period of time.IMO
